Honley Show is pleased to welcome Competition back in 2022

We look forward to seeing competitors old and new on our new date.

Keep checking this page for Competing News, Schedules changes and updates.

Dog Show

Unfortunately the new date clashes with another large, established Dog Show so we will have to wait until 2023 to catch up again with our canine friends and their owners 🐕

Great News for large livestock competitors

The winners of all large livestock classes are once again invited to take part in the Grand Parade – the grand finale to all traditional agricultural shows, with a chance to add to an already successful day with a 1st prize of £100, 2nd – £50, 3rd – £25

The Grand Parade will take place in the Main Ring at 4pm.

Once again our thanks to our generous sponsor, Bailey Smailes Solicitors, Holmfirth & Huddersfield.

Heavy Horses

To reflect the increased interest in Heavy Horses for riding, especially Clydesdales, Class 7 – Ridden Heavy horses is open to Clydesdales and Clydesdale crosses.

The Handicrafts Schedule has a new look designed to encourage inclusivity, diversity and creativity.

Light Horse Classes

The Schedule has been revised to reflect the current popular trends and provides plenty of opportunities for Mountain and Moorland ponies. With the bonus of being able to qualify pure bred ponies for the BSPS Heritage Ridden.

All In-hand and Ridden Classes continue to be qualifiers for the TSR NAF Five Star Showing Finals.
