Rules:
Holding no. 49/344/8111
All animals must be on the Showground by 9.30am.
All vehicles and livestock must remain on the Showground until 5pm.
Straw will be provided
A Vehicle Pass will be required to gain entry to the Showfield. This will be emailed to you to print off . If you are unable to do this please send an s.a.e. with your entry form for return of a pass.
Entry Fee: £3.00 all classes, except Classes 14 & 15 which are Free
Entries close Saturday 20th June 2026
Numbers and tickets will be issued by the Secretary on arrival.
Prize Money: 1st – £25, 2nd – £20, 3rd – £15.
Rosettes: 1st, 2nd, 3rd + Rosettes for Best in Show, Champion and Reserves

Class 1 – July Boar born after 1/07/2025 – all breeds

Class 7 – Sow any age
Class 8 – Gilt born after 1/7/25
Class 9 – January Gilt born after 1/1/26
Class 10 – January Boar born after 1/1/26
Class 11 – Best Traditional Pig in Show
Best Traditional Pig will receive £30 and the Reserve Champion £25 kindly sponsored by Hollings Land Drainage
Mixed Classes
Class 12 – Matching Pair
Class 13 – Championship Open to the winners and reserves of Classes 6 and 11
The Champion to receive £50 and the Reserve £25 kindly sponsored by S Penny & Son, Leeds
Novelty
Class 14 – Best Young Handler
Entry fee: Free Prize Money: Winner £15, 2nd – £10
All competitors to receive a Young Handler rosette
Class 15 – Prettiest Pig in Show
Entry fee: Free Prize Money: Winner £10
Modern Classes
Class 2 – Sow any age
