Show President’s Statement

Peter Aspinall the Show President says:

” We were delighted with the success of our 2021 Centenary event but we are excited to be returning to our usual format and scale as that is what people believe we are and what we have historically provided. Delivering a leading agricultural show is very much what we are here for.

It was obvious from feedback last year that bringing the show closer to Honley would be a popular move. We are sure this event will be as fun-filled and entertaining as last year’s but there will be many challenges around delivering a large show in a new venue which will keep our committee very busy. We would love to hear from anyone that would like to help out and there are plenty of roles both ahead of the day and on the day that we need help with. Get in touch via Facebook or a committee member if you want to volunteer”

The committee are currently making plans for the event including ticket pricing and will be releasing more information via social media and the website as it becomes available. Trade stand applications are being taken and will be on a strictly first come first served basis as we are anticipating high demand due to the success of last year’s event. We are also happy to hear from organisations who might want to link with the show on a sponsorship basis.
