Sensory hairs are the hard hairs located on the horse\u2019s muzzle and around the eyes, also known as \u2018whiskers\u2019 that are used for sensation. Any competitor in breach of this will be disqualified.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Important information re. EQUINE INFLUENZA<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">ALL EQUINES MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY A PASSPORT.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\">RANDOM CHECKS WILL BE CARRIED OUT ON THE SHOWGROUND DURING ENTRY.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\">Please make sure you have your passport ready.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Equine Flu Vaccinations<\/strong>\u2013 All equines attending Honley Agricultural Show must have been vaccinated for Equine Influenza within the past 12 months.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\">The requirement for the first 3 vaccinations is as follows:<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\">First 2 vaccinations 21 \u2013 60 days apart;<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\">Third booster between 120-180 days;<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\">Annual booster vaccination within 6 months or 12 months depending on governing body.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\">No horse\/pony should enter competitions within 7 days of an EI vaccination<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\">No equine should enter competitions within 7 days of an EI vaccination<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\">Foals should commence vaccinations at 6 months old.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">All owners are urged to adhere to strict biosecurity protocols at all times.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\">Vaccinations are subject to local risk assessments by the attending
